Terms & Conditions
Prop hire
Pieces can be hired as props for shoots, films and events at 10% of the
retail price per day. A deposit equal to the full price of the piece is
payable before the hire, with a minimum spend of €200. Long-term
discounts can be discussed. For more information, please
get in touch.
The pieces
All pieces offered for sale are vintage, antique, one-off or pre-owned.
Given their unique nature, their age and possible wear, they are sold
as is. Please review descriptions and photographs carefully before
purchasing, and do not hesitate to ask for further details or pictures.
Without prejudice to the statutory warranties, Christophe Dupouy cannot be
held accountable for the lifespan of pieces purchased.
Reservations
Given the one-off nature of the pieces, we are unable to put items on
reserve.
Payment
Payment is due within 48 hours of receiving an invoice.
A piece is recorded as sold only once payment has been verified. Should
payment not be received within this time frame, the piece will be
offered for sale again.
Shipping
Christophe Dupouy is unable to post purchased pieces.
Transport partners can be recommended on request. Organising timely
shipping or collection (see storage below) is the responsibility of the
purchaser, as is the packaging of the pieces, by the purchaser or their
designated shipper. Christophe Dupouy is not liable for any damage or loss
sustained in transit with third parties. Pieces are not released for
delivery or collection until payment has been received.
Storage
Storage is complimentary for 30 calendar days after receipt of payment.
Beyond this period, storage fees apply, unless an extension has been
requested in writing and approved in advance by Christophe Dupouy:
€50 per month for small objects
€75 per month for medium objects
€100 per month for furniture
Returns
Pieces purchased in person are final sale and cannot be returned.
For customers located outside the European Union, all sales are final.
Subject to the right of withdrawal described below, we do not accept
returns, exchanges or cancellations once an order has been confirmed and
processed. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this
policy.
Remote purchases · EU
Consumers in the European Union who purchase remotely (online, by email
or by phone) have 14 calendar days to exercise their right of
withdrawal, in accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer
Code. This period starts on the day the piece is received.
To exercise this right, please notify us of your decision by email at
info@2021design.com within these
14 calendar days.
The cost of returning the piece is borne by the customer. Pieces must be
sent back no later than 14 calendar days after notifying us of your
withdrawal.
Once we receive the returned piece, we will inspect it and let you know
the status of your refund. If the return is approved, the refund will be
made to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the
returned piece.
